Every film is a company: it raises capital, hires a crew, manages risk and has to deliver a return. Krystal Entertainment is named after what comes back when something breaks: harder, clearer, impossible to shatter twice.

Born in Rio de Janeiro to a family from Bahia, Carolina graduated from the University of Miami in 2007 and founded a resort-wear brand the same year: 700 pieces sold in the first month. In 2008 she was invited to show the collection at Nolcha New York Fashion Week as an emerging designer, then ran branding, marketing and sales in Japan, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Greece and Brazil.
In 2012 she studied journalism and began writing for magazines and newspapers; a year later she opened a PR agency serving clients around the world. In 2018 she founded Crossing Networks, a bridge connecting international talent, brands and investors to American productions, with product placement and brand integration at its core.
In Los Angeles she co-founded Stone Horus Media and moved from brand integration on The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy and Two and a Half Men to producing features. Between 2020 and 2025 she executive-produced films sold to Lionsgate, Paramount and Saban, worked alongside Mickey Rourke, Thora Birch, Julie Benz and Wes Studi, and produced the Emmy-winning series The Bay.
In 2026 she founded Krystal Entertainment. The company opened the year with West Village, an eight-episode series shot in New York with Gregori Martin, presented The Darkness Returns and Deixe-me Viver at the Marché du Film in Cannes, and is now building a production base in the Philippines with Jared Cohn, aiming at one film a month.
